So bullets points update. I can expound on any points if requested in comments:
  • Thursday night was Purim. Kate and I went to synagogue dressed as pirates. We lost the costume contest to a toddler dressed as Yoda. This was not the first time I lost a contest to someone dressed as Yoda. The wound still stings.

  • Friday night I went to moms and looked at all the stuff she has been asking me to clean up. Its not that messy but holy crap do I have a lot of stuff.

  • Saturday during the day was spent getting zombie night together. The theatre sold out and the show was really good overall.

  • Sunday was spent recovering, showering, watching TV and making dinner for five.

  • Today my intentions of taking my car in to the repair shop to have the brakes checked out was thwarted by having a dead battery. I think it might be time to retire the couchpedition.

A dead battery isn't that big of a deal to get rid of the couchpedition. I think you should wait for a bigger problem :-).

Its the dead battery, the brakes, the door, the bumpers, and the constant repairs. I don't think its just the brakes - its the culmination. Mind you, a new car is not an expense I really need to add right now. But the old grey mare, she ain't what she used to be.

I hear you on that. When is your next inspection? If it can make it till then, then at least you can get some use out of it before getting a new car.

i think its retirement season for cars. i'm getting tired of spending hundreds of dollars every month on repairs for my car, too.
it will make some excited 17 year old a good first car.

That settles it. Next year you must go as a giant yoda. We will throw hamentaschen at you, so that you can cutely scoop them up and yell "mine! mine!" then stick your fingers in the jam.

I thought it was Skeletor?

In 1985 I was in fifth grade. He-Man was all the rage. I was attending a jewish day school at the time. I wanted to dress like Skeletor for Purim. My brother really dug the idea too and worked realy hard on the costume with me. It was AWESOME! When I got to school there were otehr kids dressed as "Skeletor" but honestly they were wearing the cheap Ben Cooper version (check out this link for the cheeziness - no skeletor specifically but you get the idea). Basicly they had a glow in the dark skull mask and a shirt that said "Skeletor" on it and I had an actual Skeletor costume. Everyone in school was impressed. When it came time for the 5th graders costume contest I got up there, the whole school loved me. Right next to me was one of my friends - Jason Cohen - wearing a brown bathrobe and a yoda mask. The gym teacher was a HUGE Star Wars fan though. And sadly I was defeated by Yoda... the first time.

I was gonna call you today while I was at work. But, I rarely get a spare minute so I couldn't :-( I haven't talked to you in quite some time and I miss ya! If you get a few free minutes, give me a ring.

Wow, who would have guessed that you have a lot of stuff... silly man :P

I still insist we beat out the Yoda kid. He can go fly a kite.

I mean, when he's older. With adult supervision. Wasn't he a cutie??
